Corsewall Lighthouse On The Rocks

Key Facts

Corsewall Lighthouse was established in 1817 by Robert Stevenson and is situated on the northern tip of the Rhinns of Galloway.

The Lighthouse is still in operation and is controlled remotely by the Northern Lighthouse Board. 

In 1994 the Lighthouse Keepers'  Accommodation was converted into the Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel.

Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel and Restaurant is a small boutique hotel with 6 rooms within the old lighthouse keepers' accommodation and a further 5 rooms and suites available within the 20 acre grounds.

Our restaurant serves breakfast, light lunches and a Five Course Fine Dining Menu.

We are well known for our high quality service and outstanding restaurant.

The hotel is perched on the rocks of Corsewall Point offering stunning views of the coastline and local wildlife including otters, dear, porpoises, hare, sea birds etc. Cutting through the grounds of Corsewall Lighthouse is the Rhins of Galloway Coastal Path

Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel is available for exclusive hire and has been host to many intimate weddings.
